Will you have confidence in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is a fundamental element of western society and many of us grew up using this type of magical icon. Recently I came upon the concept that Santa represents a distinctive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is described as an inherited memory represented inside the mind with a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
In searching for these particular symbolic images of the dear old man I realized that which Santa Claus is short for may also be used to motivate us in creating for the new year. I see him as being a fun-loving guy that can bring us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all of our dreams and wishes be realized. During this season we are full of expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the fun of being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, as well as the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I realize that santa picture ideas reflects several archetypes. He is seen within the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope as well as think that a greater day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith and also the trust that every will be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, is just not in the exercise of power this is the motive, however the drive to bestow care on those that require it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He or she is about giving to others fulfilling the requirements. And the man does not require anything in exchange except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He appear to be a strong guy, settling on who receives a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. Once we are perfect and in case we believe, Santa will make sure we have everything we wish.
A tremendous aspect of Santa’s story is definitely the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney from the touch of his nose along with his yearly trek around the globe. And besides that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is literally miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and love to all, one child’s heart at one time. Santa may be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to get new methods for dealing, being and succeeding.
Since we are creating our dreams, our visions, and our alternatives for 2010, let’s all make sure to use our Santa Claus model in conjunction with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. As you have chosen after which more clearly defined the options in creating your 2010 Journey, use this technique to shift your beliefs and allowing of that particular you desire.
Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from a mature aspect of seeking to force, worrying over and wondering how things will alter, to the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. An integral component of the skill of Allowing is to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings allows us to available to the Infinite Likelihood of the Universe.
Then too, we are able to liken Santa’s management skills into a universal manager. Can you envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, within one night? And all of promptly and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe are capable of doing for people, once we change it over to God/Source. Within the book “Ask & It Is Actually Given” one of the Proven Processes is catchusanta it up to the manager. While we set our goals, it’s like delegating to a Universal Manager. So when we step back, and let the Universe set things in position, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not giving up choices, we’re merely turning over all the details and creating our choices.
I urge you to concentrate on giving over to your Universal Manager everything you are feeling you have to do within this holiday week. You’ll find it amazing that since we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve done this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by every one of the chores I feel I have to do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, although some just don’t seem essential. I’ve had occasions when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to perform several of the baking. I’ve learned to accept help and reply having a grateful “Yes!” This process is priceless in every areas of life, not just the holidays. The Law of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that must happen to bring me my desires, Now.
